History

The firm is a successor to Welch Spell, PC, which was founded in 1992. The partners are L. Penn Spell, Laurance D. Pless, and Robert A. Sauro.

Mission

We are hands-on lawyers. We offer a small firm alternative for sophisticated business and commercial real estate clients who expect excellent legal work on complex matters done in an efficient manner.  Our commitment is to service and results.

Our Attorneys and Practice

We handle complex business, commercial real estate, litigation and arbitration matters for domestic and foreign companies as well as individuals.  We offer broad and relevant experience in a diverse range of practice areas including among other things:  mergers and acquisitions, international transactions, non-compete and trade secret litigation, overseas-based businesses setting up in the US, business split-ups, commercial real estate, real estate development including multifamily, residential, multiplex movie theatre, shopping center development, manufacturing and distribution, healthcare device law, antitrust, software license agreements, and immigration.
